This Privacy Policy explains how EPRONS ROV processes personal data when you visit epronsrov.com, send us an enquiry or contact us.

2. What data we process, why, and on what legal basis

  • Contact form and direct messages (e-mail, phone, WhatsApp): your name, e-mail, country, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), type of request, ROV models and equipment you are interested in, and the content of your message. We use it to answer your enquiry and to prepare a quotation or offer. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Offers and information by e-mail or phone: only if you tick the consent box in the form. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads) are used only after you give consent in the cookie banner. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Technical and security data (IP address, browser data, server logs, spam protection with Google reCAPTCHA): to keep the website secure and to prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing your data in the contact form is voluntary, but without name, e-mail and country we cannot answer your enquiry. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing.

4. Who receives your data

  • Hosting and website maintenance providers;
  • e-mail and office software providers (Microsoft);
  • Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google reCAPTCHA, Site Kit);
  • Usercentrics A/S (Cookiebot consent management);
  • professional advisers and public authorities where we are legally required to share data.

Our service providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements or their standard terms.

5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some providers, such as Google and Microsoft, may process data outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. In that case we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. How long we keep data

  • Enquiries and correspondence: as long as needed to answer and follow up, and generally up to 3 years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law (for example for accounting records) or to defend legal claims.
  • Marketing contact data: until you withdraw your consent.
  • Cookie data: for the periods stated in the cookie list above.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, write to sales@epronsrov.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in Latvia: Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija), Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, www.dvi.gov.lv.

8. Children

This website is intended for business customers and is not directed at children.
